Before
The tool worked, but the site looked dated and made people scroll before they could start.
- The first invoice field sat 882 px down the page.
- On phones the header scrolled sideways, the logo wrapped onto two lines, and the Download bar disappeared after the first edit.
- The PDF printed empty Discount, Tax and Shipping rows.
- The free dashboard opened on four zeros.
What we did
- A new visual system: white, navy and one green accent, set in IBM Plex.
- Moved the invoice form up onto the first screen, without touching the generator's math.
- Redesigned all 59 pages: 18 guides, 18 industry pages, 8 calculators and 4 comparisons, plus the hubs and core pages.
- Cleaned up the PDF: no empty rows and correctly formatted amounts.
- Redesigned the free dashboard: a calm overview first, a full-page invoice editor, and estimates that turn into invoices in one click.
- Drew 51 article covers in code, so every page shares one look.
After
The new design went live on October 8, 2026, and every page followed within the week. On October 26, 2026, Google PageSpeed scored the home page on a phone 94 for speed, 100 for accessibility, 96 for best practices and 100 for SEO.
