This policy explains what information Markito (“we”, “us”) collects through markito.pro, how we use it and the choices you have. We’re a small website and software studio based in Miami, Florida. Questions? Write to us at zhyzhko.oleksandr@gmail.com.
What we collect
What you send us. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name and email address, plus anything else you choose to share: your phone number, your website address, the service you’re interested in and your message.
When we work together. If you become a client, we also keep what we need to do the work and invoice you, such as project contacts, notes, files and access to the accounts you give us.
Basic technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. It uses this to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Cookies and tracking
We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t use analytics tools that follow you across other websites. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary cookies to run the site securely. If we add analytics in the future, we’ll update this policy first.
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because we don’t track visitors across websites, our site works the same way whether or not it’s turned on.
How we use it
- To reply to you and send the review or quote you asked for.
- To do the work, keep you updated and invoice you if we work together.
- To keep the site working and secure, and to stop spam.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We won’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
When you send us your website
If you ask for a free review or an audit, we look at the public pages of your website, your public business listings, such as your Google Business Profile, and your public reviews. We use what we find only to prepare our answer to you.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run Markito, such as our website host and form provider (Webflow) and our email provider (Google). They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- The people on our team who need it to work on your request or project.
- Authorities or others when the law requires it, or when we need to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
- A buyer or successor if Markito is ever sold or merged, under the same commitments as this policy.
Our team and our providers may handle information in the United States and in other countries.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and project information only as long as we need them for the purposes above, and longer only when the law requires it, for example for tax records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information and limit access to the people who need it. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don’t send passwords or payment card details through our contact form.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email zhyzhko.oleksandr@gmail.com from the address you used with us, and we’ll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local law, and we’ll honor them.
Children
Our site and services are meant for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Other websites
Our site links to other websites, such as the projects in our portfolio and LinkedIn. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
